"The Kids Place" Home Daycare and Preschool 

Welcome to the "The Kids Place" Home Daycare and Preschool.  My name is Rose, and I am the owner and educator of the child care.  I have been operating a home daycare since 1990 and added a preschool program to my childcare program in 1993.  My childcare was a Certified Type B Family Daycare Home with Cuyahoga County Jobs and Family Services and is currently a Licensed Type A Family Daycare Home.  To help facilitate a great working relationship between us I have created a "Handbook” of policies for my program.  It contains everything from my childcare philosophies, business policies, to my expectations and what you can expect from me.  It may seem like a lot of information, but it is there to let you know what you can expect from me as your child's child care provider, and in turn, it will let you know what is expected from you once the contract is signed.

 

Please take the time to carefully go over the "handbook and contract".  We will go over it during your interview, but this will give you the opportunity to review more carefully.  If at any time you have a question regarding my policies, please don't hesitate to ask.  I am a firm believer that communication between parents and providers and both parties working as a team will create a successful childcare relationship and a wonderful experience for the child.
