Our Schedule...

Children enjoy a structured schedule that allows for flexibility.  A schedule helps the day to flow more smoothly, allows the child to anticipate coming events, and aids in achieving a variety of goals.  I try to adhere to my written schedule to the best of my ability but I keep in mind the present needs of the children and will alter it accordingly.

Arrival - 8:30 am
8:30 am - 9:00 am
Free Choice Play/TV/Books
Breakfast, Bathroom, Free Choice Play
9:00 am - 9:15 am
Clean up/Bathroom/Diaper Changes
9:15 am - 9:30 am
9:30 am - 10:30 am
10:30 am - 11:30 am
11:30 am - 12:15 am
Book Reading or Literacy Activity/Bottle feedings/Nap for infants
Circle Time/Learning Time/Activity Centers
Outdoor Play
Handwashing/Diapers/Coat hanging/Free Choice Play
12:15 am - 1:00 pm
1:00 pm - 1:15 pm
Lunch and clean-up
Music and Movement
1:15 pm - 1:30 pm
Story time/Bottle feedings
1:30 pm - 3:30 pm
Quiet time (napping or resting)
3:30 pm - 4:00 pm
4:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Clean up/Bathroom/Diapers/Snack
Indoor or Outdoor Play/ Departure
Outdoor play will be a part of our daily activities provided the weather is appropriate for such activity.   Children will be outdoors if the temperature is between 25 and 90 degrees Fahrenheit and it is safe for the children to be outdoors.  Limitations will be placed on play outside due to safety issues, high humidity, wind chill, ozone levels, pollen count, lightning, rain, ice, snow, or excessively wet.
